The Role:

We are currently seeking full-time Equipment and Mobilisation Manager who will serve as a key member of Green Rebel’s survey team, based in Crosshaven, Co Cork, Ireland. The role will involve fulltime, permanent, onshore work to mobilise our vessels and maintain our geophysical survey equipment. Occasional, short offshore work during vessel mobilisations will also be expected. Salary is competitive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of geophysical survey equipment
• Maintenance of geophysical survey equipment
• Assistance with geophysical vessel mobilisations
• Repairs to survey equipment
• Management of consumables
• Management of spares, rentals, and SLAs
• Contributions to safety checks
• Reporting on above activities
• Contributing to communications between vessels and office

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 10 years’ experience working with geophysical survey equipment
is a preference, but will consider a minimum of 6 years’ experience
• Experience with marine electronics and cable terminations
• Experience with towed sensors and their maintenance
• Knowledge of USBL and GNSS systems
• Experience with maintenance scheduling and implementation
• Ability to occasionally work offshore
• Ability to travel and work within the EU
• Ability to assist with geophysical data collection is desirable but not essential
• Experience with management a preference
• Experience with offshore wind energy would be advantageous
• Exposure to geophysical tenders an advantage
